Modernist Influences



I used some of my favorite 20th century artists — including Calder, Munch, Klee and Gottlieb — to broaden the depth of my Inuit influenced paintings. I love their works that use flatness, simplified compostions, abstracted imagery and bright color . The impact of their  mastery helped me to broaden and give a new dimension to my work.
